Members

We aim to make our members' swims accessible and fun.

Our members come from all backgrounds but all benefit from the socialising, exercising and mental stimulation that they get from our assisted swim sessions.

We only cater for individuals over 18 years old.

A Typical Session

We swim every Tuesday at EGHAM ORBIT, Egham.

We meet in the foyer at about 11 am and make our way through to change for our session starting at 11.30 am.  We can organise transport by bus for those who find it difficult to get there (availability permitting).

There is help for those who need assistance with changing subject to their need and our availability of equipment and volunteers.

Volunteers are on hand to assist members throughout the session e.g accessing the water, exercising, socialising etc.

Members are free to swim in the main and training pool.  Group exercise is at 12.15 pm for those who wish and we always finish with fun actions to music.  The pool session finishes at 1 pm but members meet in the foyer/cafe area once changed for 'tea and a chat'.

Finally, we depart on our way by 2 pm exhausted but happy.
